    ALIAS ha presented the Legal Case at the EASA-OPTICS Conference. The Safety experts and managers attending the event have shown interest in the topic on liability and automation and in the solutions proposed by ALIAS to mitigate them.

    ALIAS at the OPTICS Dissemination Event

    The ALIAS project is happy to announce its participation in the forthcoming OPTICS Dissemination event, which will be hosted by EASA on the 14th april. The event will highlight safety research from the main European Funding Programmes. ALIAS will be there as well, and will present its research activities and the results achieved so far. You are all invited to attend!

    ECA position paper on the RPAS "Open Category" now available in the ALIAS Digital Library

    The European Cockpit Association (ECA) position paper on the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) “Open Category” (as presented in the EASA’s Concept of Operation for Drones) is now available in the ALIAS Digital Library (folder 7.2 RPAS).     Legal Case proved to be suitable to use in aviation domain

    Legal Case test applications on Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and Collision Avoidance Systems (ACAS X) proved that the methodology is easy to use and applicable to technologies with different maturity levels. We will present the results in the forthcoming ALIAS Conference (5-6 october 2015 - Florence, Italy). Join us!

    SESAR Innovation Days (SIDs) 2014

    ALIAS participated with a poster presentation in the SIDs 2014, which were held in Madrid on the 25-27 November 2014. The poster depicted the 4 proposals developed by the project to foster the SESAR research on liability and automation, namely the ALIAS Network of Legal Research in ATM, the ALIAS Digital Library, the ALIAS Conference, the Legal Case. We spent a very good time in Madrid and would like to thank all of the visitors who came at our stand and showed interest in the ALIAS research!
