Consortium

The ALIAS project is managed by a Consortium that includes the European University Institute and Deep Blue.

The European University Institute participates through a joint team including the Department of Law and the Florence School of Regulations. In ALIAS it provides qualified expertise in legal research and a deep knowledge of the legal aspects associated to the introduction of automatic devices in various domains (i.e. intelligent cars, software agents).

DeepBlue is a human factors and safety consultancy providing solutions throughout industry and the public sector in the field of complex systems. It has deep knowledge and experience in the ATM domain and in areas associated to automation and innovation. It ensures a close link of ALIAS with SESAR, being involved in many SESAR activities in support of ENAV, the Italian Air Traffic Control Service Provider, and the SESAR Joint Undertaking.
